Franka was one of seven children of Mice and Perina Simunovic (Pivac). She arrived to marry her fiancee, Luka Zuvich. Her trousseau contained exquisite pieces of self stitched needlework. She bore 6 children, the first being twins ( boy and girl) who died within 2 days. Michael, John, Nicholas and Katie followed.
