Gladys was 3 years of age on arrival in Albany. Richard was 18 months. They were made Wards of the State Feb 1926. Richard died June 1929. Gladys had 4 children, 10 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren. From a very deprived childhood Gladys had a fulfilling life.
