Left Kastellorizo when bombed 1943, one son killed. Refugee in Palestine, Cyprus for 2 years, on Empire Patrol to Kastellorizo when it caught fire and sank. Rest of family to Australia but stayed with daughter Katina three years in Rhodes, then 6 months in Egypt before joining family in Australia.
