Geoffrey Simnett came to WA as part of the WA Government 'Group Settlement Scheme'. He and others were given land and crops to plant. His land was in Cowaramup. His wife, Elizabeth and daughter, June (18 months) joined him later, arriving on the JERVUS BAY on 09/04/1926.
