Stjepan was born in Mratinići, Kreševo to parents Pero Šimić & Ane Medić. Went to Germany to work (1965) where he met Barica Vlašić and they married (1968) in Bonegilla, Victoria. They have four daughters, Anna, Katica, Rozmarin & Kristina. Stjepan worked hard all his life and is proud to be an Australian citizen.
