Read their story

Left village in 1927 at age 22 to make his fortune in Australia. Was trained as a cobbler. Worked on farms clearing bush & trees. Worked in mines, cut sleepers for the railroad. WWII called up for army. Stationed at Rottnest Island, Cooks Corp. Returned to village between Wars in 1930's. Settled in Geraldton, WA market gardening. Came to Perth in 1959 with all family.
