Mr Sholdas joined his cousin, Vic Sholdas in Narembeen, where he worked as a labourer clearing trees for farms. He married Sophia Angelcoff in 1943 and they had 3 daughters - Christina Coles Deanna Dimovski & Helen Kouzinas.
