Erich, Betty, twins - Brigitte and Ludwig Shilbury (formerley Schimmelburg) fled Nazi Germany in 1939. Erich - Head/Lecturer Engineering (Perth Technical College) until 1965, has three Lecture theatres named after him at Curtin University. Erich and Betty are survived by Brigitte and Ludwig (retired Optician/Optometrist), 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren .
