  • The family Sherrin originated from the line of a William Sherrin born in Wisborough Green, Sussex in 1692 to John and Ann Sherrin.
    He moved to Wonersh in Surrey where he was a butcher and then moved to Ash, Surrey. The name Sherrin also appeared as Sherwin, Sherring over the years.
