Read their story

Perth's first chemist, he quickly expanded into merchandising and timber exports. Instrumental in opening up the Geraldton district for agriculture and mining. Chairman of Perth Town Trust and Western Australian Bank. A prominent Wesleyan, he gave strong support to Aboriginal mission in York and Wanneroo. Married Ann Catherine Coiusins in 1838.
