Married by proxy to Ezio Sertorio and helped with farm work. Moved to Busselton. Worked in salmon factory and raising daughters Mary, Gina, Anita and Diana. In 1952 with Ezio went into the fruit and vegetable continental food business. Opened first Italian restaurant, with spaghetti and chick being the most popular dishes. Was mother figure to many Italian women migrants accompanying them to doctor and hospital appointments. Foundation member of South West Italian Club. Retired in Perth 1974.
