Joined Army in 1962. Served in Malaya/Borneo & completed two tours of duty in Vietnam & was mentioned in dispatches. Joined Queensland Public Service in 1984. Is now in charge of security at the Executive Building Brisbane, The Office of Premier of Queensland, Hon Peter Beattie MP.
