Early records of my family are long gone although I remember my mother saying that Dad sailed on the Bendigo. My father's death certificate shows that he was in Australia for 47 years. He died in 1976 which means he may have arrived in 1929, although in my mind it was 1926 because he went to South Australia to work for a time.
