She was married by proxy in 1934 to Giuseppe Scolaro & was the niece of Pietro Rifici who had settled in Perth in the 1920's. She had 3 children in Wanneroo & a 4th in Pickering Brook where the family had move to in 1939. She was born in Sicily in 1907.
