Eleven year old Hyman, travelled from Russia to his new life in Australia with the Chalezky Family: grandmother, aunts & uncle. Hyman was naturalised in 1933, married Rose Glance in 1936 & served in the Australian Army during World War II. His family have proud memories of a great Australian.
