Mr LH Schook lived in Singapore as a teenager and during WW2 was stationed in Indonesia as an Aircraft Mechanic. Taken prisoner by the Japanese and spent 3 years in Thailand and Japan. One of only few to survive. Mrs J Schook spent her teenage years under the occupation of the German Army in Holland during WW2. Married L H Schook in Singapore in 1950. Raised 3 children and have 6 grandchildren.
