Read their story

Ton & Rica immigrated for the second time to Australia from Holland on board the SS Waterman with 3 young children - Joy, Marj & Ellen. Jenny & Trish were born after their arrival. Ton worked as a painter and decorator with the State Government. Rica returned to nursing once the children were all at school. Though they maintained their Dutch Traditions through the Nederlandia Club, they embraced Australia as their home.
