Alfredo is the youngest of 10 children born to Vitalino & Rebecca Scassera of Roccamandolfi, Italy. In Australia, Alfredo gained work as a Railway labourer & helped build many of the railways in WA. Giovanna has six brothers & sisters, three live in Perth, two in South America and one in Italy.
