Read their story

As a 19 year-old Silvano made the brave move to Australia in 1952, leaving his family in Italy. He made a new life in Australia where he met his wife Mary Facchin in Kalgoorlie. They married in 1960 and they had 3 children - Anthony, Leanne and Lisa. In 1975 the family moved to Perth. Silvano died of mesothelioma 14/11/1995.
