Wasily Sakalo (Snr) was a surgeon from Odessa, Ukraine. Unable to endure the rigours required for Australian Registration as a medical practioner, he worked in the Biochemsitry Dept at RPH for 20 years+. His three children all attained medical qualifications (Surgeon, GP, Orthodontist)
