Anton, Maria & Andre settled in Northam. Anton worked for the railways for several years. They finally bought 5 acres and a house in Athanson, just out of Collie, where they remained till Maria passed away. Anton worked till age 65 at Muja Power Station as a coal controller. They had two other children, Irene and Peter.
