Tindaro Russo was sponsored to see what WA had to offer by Salvatore Russo. Tindaro worked hard to establish a fully functional home so he could sponsor his wife and two children to join him. This took 4 years. He was very excited to again meet his wife Maria and children Clelia and Nicola in 1961. The trip, in 1957, on the TOSCANA took approximately 47 days.
