After the death of her husband, my husband's grandmother, Alma Dodd (deceased) engaged Colin Rule, AAPTC, ARAIA, to design her home at Lot 12 Stoneham Road, Attadale. I loved visiting. Her home had a Toodyay stone front panel, wooden floors, a covered patio protected by the living room on one side and the bedroom wing on the other. The attention to detail on the plan dated April 1960, is amazing. My granddaughter is considering architecture as a career. I will be showing her Colin's plan. It is a work of art. Alma loved her home and its lovely views to her garden.
