Soon after my acceptance as a migrant to WA I met my future husband, Norman Andrew Fitzpatrick. He was on a working holiday in London from Perth, WA. I arrived on the ORSOVA in 1961. We were married in 1962 and had two children; Paul and Craig. I trained as a nurse and midwife. I nursed until 62 years and have had a happy life here.
