Michael Ronan was the groomer for stud horses on the ship for Mr L.C. Burges. Michael married Mary Ann O'Reilly at Bowes on 19.4.1865 settling on a property known as Paradise Gully, Nabawa, where they brought up 16 childen who worked and settled in surrounding areas.
