Marianna Romeo was born in Sitizano, Reggio Calabria. She came to Australia in 1952 with 4 children: Rocco, Angela, Raffaele and Stella, to join her husband Domenico. Two more children were born; Nazereno and Vincenzo. Marianna died on 29/12/1994 leaving behind 6 children, 23 grand-children and numerous great grand-children.
