Jim worked on a farm in Gabbin, then moved to Perth where he became a linesman for the State Electricity Commission. His fiance, Kathleen Heaton arrived from London on September 1924 at Fremantle & they were married at Highgate Hill in March 1925. They had three daughters, Kathleen, Georgina & Dorothy. Jim & Kathleen moved to Albany in the early 1970's. Kathleen died in 1977 & Jim died in 1978.
