Came to Australia as he felt there were better opportunities. Spent four years as farm hand then took a job at Wesfarmers as a tractor mechanic. Joined Mason & Simonson. Became works manager. Established first dog foods (snaps) industry in WA, built own specialist machinery and ovens for the business.
