Doris Maria Ritter (nee Benz) met her husband Helmut (known as Tom in Australia) when she was 15 and a half. He then left Germany October 1953 to make his fortune in Australia and returned May 1956 to marry Doris in September, and they both then left for Australia and arrived November 1956.
