Read their story

Ambler Riley was a widower. I believe he was sent to work on Mr Ball's farm at Tambellup, and was later himself granted a farm. He gathered sandalwood to survive. Olive, his daughter, became Cpt. & Mrs Heaney's maid and returned to Fremantle with them when he finished relieving at Albany.
