Ivor Victor Ridgway (preferred name "Vic"). My father first worked with the SEC, then as a prison officer at Fremantle jail. He then moved to the Fremantle Harbour Trust (now Fremantle Port Authority) where he became a crane driver. He stayed with them for approximately 20 years. The family lived in Pamment Street, North Fremantle until 1976. He passed away 13/03/1986. The children, Ron & Joan, became Australian Citizens after his passing. I am the only member of the immediate family born in Australia. There are now 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
