The Richter family comprised of Ilse Richter, mother and sons Klaus (21) and Joachim (19). Immigration was sponsored by the Rev PG Strelan (cousin of Ilse's) of the Lutheran Church (Bendigo). Contact with Fremantle was re-established when Klaus' daughter Georgia and her family moved to Fremantle in the 1990's.
