Jim Richards, wife Gillian & son James Paul arrived at Fremantle in 1967 to start a new life. Jim had been a Publican in Bristol, but Australia had beckoned for many years. Jim worked at Jandakot Airport & then at Coca Cola. Jim's second son, Justin was born in 1969.
