David and wife, Pamela, came to Australia with their four sons - Garnett, Ian, David and Darryl, leaving the political instability and rioting of their homeland. There was the promise of a sound education for their sons and a better life for all. In 1961, their daughter, Petrice, was born.

My best friend whom I served in South Vietnam,our lives depended on each other. I think of so often having left this world in an accident. We were going to conquer the world after leaving the defence force. Wonder what we would have achieved by now.
