Came to Australia for a better life. His wife and family (3 daughters) Maria, Giuseppina and Carmelina remained in Italy. They arrived in Australia on 11/06/1964. His son Carmelo was born 08/08/1964. His first job was working in Wittenoom Gorge until 1959. Returned to Italy Feb - June. On arrival back in Australia he commenced working at Kalgoorlie Mines. He then left for Italy in February 1963 - returned to Australia in November 1963. On arrival cleared bush land to make place for residential houses. He died 08/12/1964 aged 35 in vehicle accident.
