Read their story

Life was hard for my parents on arrival in WA. They had left close family, excellent jobs and a very good standard of living. Looking back there was much propaganda to entice migrants to Australia and much of what was promised by the Government did not eventuate. I often wonder what life would have been like for my family had we not emigrated. As an adult, I do consider I am fortunate enough to have two homes. Both countries offer different opportunities and experiences. It is amazing to think I am part of history!!
