Bill was 12 when he arrived in Australia with his family. In 1970 he attended Teachers College (now ECU) where he met his wife Glenys. A keen golfer, he became State Amatuer Champion in 1978. He is married with 2 children, Dylan and Warrick and runs an educational consultancy.
