A plumber and dressmaker arrived with 12 pounds stirling and two small children. Rented a house in Mount Hawthorn, eventually settling in Dianella. Another daughter born in 1966. Started and operated roof contracting business for 25 yrs. Moved to the Swan Valley in 1974. Retired to Albany in 1987.
