Alexander was a glider pilot and expert gymnast, narrowly missing the 1948 Yugoslavian olympic team. Maria was a bookbinder. Sons Ivan and Alex both became physical education teachers in Perth. Grandchildren: Adrian ('80) Fiona ('82) Callan ('97) Emma ('00).
