Read their story

Sebastiano and Rosa Rafala and family migrated to Australia with three young boys aged 13, 15 and 17 years of age on MV ROMA. Arrived on the 27/01/1966. Sponsored by daughter Lucia Scata. Returned to homeland after 6 years because he could not get used to a completely different way of life in Australia, mainly due to his mature age.
