Peter left Italy in full winter clothing, and quickly had to adjust to the Australian summer, arriving at Christmas. He loved fishing, gardening and being with friends. A strong, loyal & loving husband & father. A quiet, deep thinker, who embraced his new life in Australia.

  • My grandfather Frank Radoccia left Furci Italy to go to America in the 1920's. I wonder if you are related? he settled in Hornell, NY. I am going to Furci in July to see if I can discover any relatives.

  • Hi,

My surname is also Radoccia and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am currently on holiday in Italy and staying in Furci for a couple weeks. When you do arrive here, go directly to the council offices and speak to my cousin, Maria, she will help you track your family history. I did this on my last visit. You will be able to find birth records and a partial family tree. Hopefully this helps you.
