Born in Glasgow, Scotland. Migrated to Fremantle with brother Stephen in 1922. Married George Coram 1913. He was coxswain on the IVANHOE, LADY FORREST and LADY MITCHELL. Lived in Harbour Trust cottages. Moved to Swanbourne in 1937. Seven children. Two boys in WWII were shot down over German POW camp, the other was awarded DFC. Died in 1955, leaving husband, 5 children and 17 grandchildren.
