John & Martin went to Melbourne & then worked in the country. 1914: took land near Manangatang. 1920: Jane Holloway, Red Cross VAD left Chirbury to marry Martin & arrived 4/4/1920. Married 15/4/1920. 10/4/1920: Nellie Edwards, a Montgomery VAD arrived on SS Bahia Castillo, Fremantle & then went to Melbourne. Married John 1921. 1923: Began dairy farming in Tongala.
