Received early 'Ticket of Leave' in 24/9/1851. Married first white female born in WA. Labourer, timber worker, Pinjarra area. Had 12 children, plus 2 adopted. Purchased 100 acres at Hope Valley. Helped build first school at Hope Valley. Farmed there until old age.
