Petro worked for 30 years in the country. Started as farmhand, manager. Later became a Telecom Cable Joiner. Cornelia was a cleaner, cook, book-keeper, shopkeeper, laundress and housewife. After 1985 lived in Fremantle then Spearwood in1994.
