Arrived in Fremantle with six children. Initially resided in Adelaide then returned to Fremantle where Michael & Andrew (twins) and Patricia were born. Resided on Lighthouse Stations throughout Australia. Ray Pinnock was the last Keeper at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse before it became fully automated.

Ray was my uncle and we used to visit him at Cape Lewin and I remember staying in the house at the lighthouse as a kid and dad used to help him carry up the supplies and it was the most wonderful time! I remember the lighthouse swaying and the seas being so rough and mesmerising! It was one of the happiest memories!
