Served in Merchant Navy 1936-39 & Royal Navy until 1947. Met & married Pamela Joan Agnew in UK. After the War, spent 2 yrs working in Iran with his family. After the 1951 Revolution, decided to come to Australia. Wife & daughter Sybil and Jane arrived 3 months earlier on the Straithaird. Peter came to Australia via Kuwait and Bombay, arriving in Fremantle December 1951.
