Józef grew up in Poland. Taken to Germany at 18 as forced labourer in 1940. After liberation in 1945, served as Polish Security Brigade in occupied Germany. Migrated to Australia as Displaced Person & established new life. Married Stefania Bernetic. Dedicated worker, husband and father. Man of character, thinker, affable raconteur.
