Pietro worked in Karavong on the woodline and sleeper cutting in S.West of WA before settling in Collie Burn where he purchased a small property for market gardening. In 1929 wife Letiziza and son Livio joined him. In 1930 Alfred, and in 1940 Ada were born. In 1958 he and his wife retired to Mt. Hawthorn, Perth.
