Jock, Rona & son David b 22/04/1950 settled in Roleystone. Jock built the family home at 39 Hall Road. Coming from the hustle and bustle of industrial Glasgow to the quiet and rural tranquillity of Roleystone felt like stepped back in time especially as there was no running water or electricity. The family grew with Rhona Ellen b 22/07/1954, then Janet Forbes b 14/09/1963. In 1990 Rona moved to 14/27 McGregor Street, Embleton

  • I lived in a house next to Rona when I was very young. I shifted to Coventry road Rolystone and attended school with Rona. I was born 27/01/1954. I left Rolystone to live in Northcliffe in 1964. I shifted to Collie in 1973 to work in the power industry and am involved with industrial activity still in Collie.
